We actively engage and schedule mandatory Safety Stand Down education and safety training, and hold everyone accountable for contributing to identify, control, and mitigate hazards effectively.
The prevention of incidents is crucial for maintaining a safe work environment. By fostering a safety culture where employees take personal accountability for their actions and are actively aware of the well-being of their colleagues, Agate Steel has created a collective responsibility for safety.
Creating an incident/injury-free culture requires dedication and persistence, but with the strategy we have implemented, it’s achievable. Our EMR scores of .61, .60, and .60 over the last three years are evidence of our commitment to being safer together.
