PRECISION FABRICATION WITH ADVANCED MACHINERY AND FACILITIES
Agate Steel operates a 10-acre yard with a 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Our team of over 40 fitters and welders, supported by three quality control specialists, works across day and night shifts, with the ability to add swing shifts as needed, seven days a week. Our facility features advanced machinery, including the Lincoln PythonX for precise cutting, the AGT Robotic Welder for high-quality welding, a camber machine for accurate bending, and an AKS Burntable for efficient material processing. The receiving and staging yard is equipped with three full-time 36,000 lb capacity Doosan forklifts, operated by skilled professionals. Our paint crew includes six experienced members, one with over 20 years of service with us. Conveniently located near Hwy 87 and the 202 freeway, we offer easy semi-truck access.

Our advanced TEKLA software systems allow us to create a project estimate that is accurate and efficient.
• Import 3D models to build out data tables of exact shapes, lengths, grades, etc.
• Full ABM developed as part of the estimate to enable procurement efficiencies soon after award
• Linear and plate optimizations performed upfront, reducing the need for assumptions
• Track the progress of design in real-time within 3D models
• Allows for constructability efficiencies to be identified upfront
• Reduces the need for RFI’s, accelerating the approval process
• 3D models can be handed off for coordination with other trades, giving everyone a head start
• Fully detailed drawings and files link back to estimate, creating a streamlined process from pricing to shipping
• Procurement & fabrication process tracked in real-time via the 3D model, enabling visibility for all parties involved
• All reports, inspections, and heat tracing are stored in one place enabling quick accessibility through every stage of the project
